Can you tell us how Klineo helped you find a clinical trial?

As part of my cancer, there have been a lot of advances related to immunotherapy. When my disease progressed and the treatment had to be changed, I therefore wanted to be able to access immunotherapy treatment without waiting until it was too late and I could no longer have access to it. Thanks to Klineo, I was able to find and benefit from an immunotherapy trial that was open in my own center after discussing it with my oncologist.

How did you discuss the clinical trial you found on Klineo with your oncologist?

I told him about the trial I found on Klineo and explained to him why I wanted to try an immunotherapy treatment. I am very lucky with my oncologist because he is very attentive and even though he initially offered me another more “standard” treatment he finally offered me to participate in this trial. It's really a concrete example of shared decision-making.

Would you recommend Klineo to other patients?

Yes! I clearly recommend that patients create an account to be informed and to be able to share trials with their oncologist when the situation requires it.

My example shows that it is not only in Paris that we can have trials!
