Pancreas hope is an association founded in 2016 in Nancy, dedicated to supporting people with pancreatic cancer as well as their loved ones. It is supported by the A.R.Ca.D* Foundation and the Lorraine Cancer Institute. Since 2017, she has also received the support of Professor Hammel from AP-HP*, and has since established numerous partnerships with CHRs and Cancer Centers throughout France.
Our missions revolve around several objectives:
- Informing and raising awareness The general public to this little-known disease
- Accompany The patients : by offering listening, information and support throughout the care process. Espoir Pancreas also participates in the “Tour de France” for digestive cancers in partnership with the A.R.Ca.D Foundation, days of exchanges between patients and health professionals, to improve care.
- Advancing knowledge and early detection : promote research, improve the early detection of pancreatic cancer, and involve patients in therapeutic trials.
- Representing and defending patients : to make the voices of patients, families and loved ones heard, by bringing their concerns to the public authorities, in order to highlight the issues related to pancreatic cancer.
- Participate in decision-making bodies: Espoir Pancreas is actively involved in specialized committees to defend the interests of patients.
