Created in 2006 and approved by the Ministry of Health in 2018, EllyE is an association of patients and relatives concerned with a lymphoma, the chronic lymphocytic leukemia Or the Waldenström's disease.
Its main objectives are:
EllyE publishes numerous informational materials to raise awareness about lymphomas, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and Waldenström disease. In addition to brochures, the association offers on its site Lymphositis instructional videos on pathologies, their management, treatments and care pathways.
EllyE is also very involved in clinical research. She offers, on her site Orely, summary sheets, presenting in an accessible way, the clinical trials opened in France on lymphomas, chronic lymphoid leukemia and Waldenström disease.
The association has also set up a program, called PRECAP, aimed at ensuring that the expectations and needs of patients are taken into account by clinical research actors. This program is based on the involvement of expert patients who provide their views on clinical trial projects.
